Look at where we were 100 years ago, 500 years ago... 1000 years ago. All these medicines, technologies etc. I'm not basing my beliefs or ideas on a 2000 year old book that never changes. I've got proof that science works and benefits us.

You're not trying to show it's true colours. It has no true colours, there is no agenda within science. There is a helluva lot of agenda involved in religion, especially between various religions who claim their's to be pure and true where as the others have become corrupted.

Yea, science does a lot of pointless research but it's also responsible for nearly everything in this world today. Including your life if you've ever had any serious illnesses.

On the other hand, you had those parents in America who had a son that lay dying in bed from an easily treatable appendicitis. Did they take him to the hospital? No. They prayed for God to save him.

I never said you should base your beliefs on anything, and that includes science.

Science has brought us nuclear weapons, chemical weapons and biological weapons as well as guns tanks, missiles, but those are overlooked, because it is sacrilege to say anything bad about science.
