I feel the same exact way. If you're carrying a gun period What the hell are you doing carrying a gun?
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Officers and detectives were on East 52nd Street in East Flatbush all Sunday, investigating the police-involved shooting of a teenager Saturday night.
Police officers say two cops were on patrol with the Brooklyn South Anti-Crime Unit, when they noticed a group of teens just before 11:30 p.m. standing outside one of the houses here.
They say one of the boys 16-year-old Kimani Gray broke away from the group and su****iously adjusted his waistband.
When the two officers approached the teen, they say he pulled out a 38-caliber revolver and pointed it at the officers.
Both officers fired several shots hitting the boy several times in the body.
But witnesses tell a very different story.
“He was running for his life, telling the cops, “Stop,” said witness Camille Johnson. ”They really are, seriously, walking around, shooting little kids.”
But police say Gray has a lengthy criminal record.

he got his ass shot.
what's the big deal?
There's stories from the kid never even had a gun, to it was a toy gun, to it was a .357 revolver initially, then reports changed and now it was .38.
The story is all over the place. My question to those arguing against the cops is just, what was the 16 year old kid doing carrying a gun? Then they say "Well a witness says he didn't have a gun"...You ask them what if he did?, they change the subject.

so it makes no difference if they 1st reported it as one or the other.
he could have had a 357 loaded with 38 ammo.
or a gun that is made in both calibers.

I'm not sure about the state of the place he resided but the witnesses may have a dislike for the police and thus banded together and made up the story about him running away.
What's more, it's stacked against him due to his horrendous criminal record for a 16 year old. If it was a a quiet teen who was never in trouble with the police then maybe the witness' stories would have a little more credibility.
