    I'm not training anyone anymore.

For years I've been giving free boxing lessons to friends. I love training new People and seeing them progress. I told everyone that I'm going to start charging them because I'm putting a lot of time and wear and tear on my body. $15 per hour is what I'm charging. Now no one has contacted for training. They use to call me every week, now nothing. Bastards!

Damn, that's unfortunate. Extend your network and you should be OK

nobody is going to pay you 15$ an hour to train, they would be foolish if they did. say you train 2 hours a day 5 days a week (which is a minimum), that means they would pay 600$ a month to be trained by someone who as far as i know havent trained any quality fighters.

and what more do they get for that other than just training? do you have a fully equipped gym? a bunch of other top fighters to spar with? how about their license to compete, is that included? are trips paid for?

most gyms charge that much for a whole year and that includes everything i mentioned. i dont see why anyone would give you that much for just a month when it probably doesnt even include everything it should.

Actually on second thoughts you're charging too much

I thought you meant training people to run around in the woods barefoot hauling rocks...

everybody makes an effort when it's free.

it's not worth it drive all that way AND pay you fifteen bucks. it's worth it when it is free because they can then justify the gas money.

i charge quite a bit more than that but i have a gym, machines, showers, a ring and most of the other equipment.

How is $15 per too much? That's a damn good price for 1 hour of pad work. I wish some one would offer me that deal.

You're absolutely right. This tells me that they don't give a shyt about me. They just want their training. That pisses me off.

I only trained them once a week. They get a hour or more of pad work, sparring, bag work, abs. That's a good deal for $15 one day a week.
