For years I've been giving free boxing lessons to friends. I love training new People and seeing them progress. I told everyone that I'm going to start charging them because I'm putting a lot of time and wear and tear on my body. $15 per hour is what I'm charging. Now no one has contacted for training. They use to call me every week, now nothing. Bastards!

nobody is going to pay you 15$ an hour to train, they would be foolish if they did. say you train 2 hours a day 5 days a week (which is a minimum), that means they would pay 600$ a month to be trained by someone who as far as i know havent trained any quality fighters.
and what more do they get for that other than just training? do you have a fully equipped gym? a bunch of other top fighters to spar with? how about their license to compete, is that included? are trips paid for?
most gyms charge that much for a whole year and that includes everything i mentioned. i dont see why anyone would give you that much for just a month when it probably doesnt even include everything it should.

everybody makes an effort when it's free.
it's not worth it drive all that way AND pay you fifteen bucks. it's worth it when it is free because they can then justify the gas money.
i charge quite a bit more than that but i have a gym, machines, showers, a ring and most of the other equipment.
