That is a VERY sharp car. I really don't know the limit of those 3 valve motors, but it sounds like the dude had a reputable shop do the install's, and dyno tune.

I'm seriously thinking about it (against my better judgement.) Don't see any mention of internal upgrades like forged pistons, stainless crank, bearings, etc. So with 3.73s I would probably grenade it on the highway.

The numbers seem feasible though, Hot Rod was able to make 600 horse out of a junkyard 2 valve for a little over 2 grand.

In that regard the US would lose any war w/ a superpower because our citizens would be unlikely to allow hundreds of thousands of deaths of civilians or our military personal whereas communist china could march their soldiers to their deaths.

On paper the US army is UNBEATABLE. But in reality it's far from it.

The CHinese kicked McArthur's backside in Korea and thus derailed the latter's political ambition. McArthur was supposed to be the next US president but the CHinese taught him a lesson or two regarding the ART OF WAR.

McArthur was so frustrated with the Chinese he wanted to use NUKES on the CHinese.

As for the Vietnamese... It's pretty obvious US military leaders are NOT STUDENTS OF HISTORY.

Because if indeed they studied military history, they'd realize the Vietnamese are the last people on earth you wanna go to war with. Incidentally the Vietnamese are THE MOST SOPHISTICATED people when it comes to war.

A few hundred years before they kicked a PRIME MONGOL HORDE not once BUT TWICE in battles involving hundreds of thousands of troops.

And all because the US army violate one of Sun Tzu's most important principle regarding the conduct of war.

Actually you're largely just making random statements that have no basis in this discussion and are irrelevant.

If these are hypothetical situations where the US has the resolve to truly stick it out in the war... It's one sided against any military force on the face of the earth and it isn't even close. The US is so technologically and logistically ahead of other countries it's almost laughable.

However, if you want to bring in ideology into the warzone or the US having to deal w/ perhaps citizen unrest or the urging of the global community then things get muddled. However, then it shifts the discussion of these hypothetical wars as to what their goals are and how to achieve them. Presumably if the US is actually in some ****ed up war with the goal being complete annihilation of the enemy and it is the will of the people... nobody would stand a chance.
