This is SPORTS, it's do or die. It's win or lose, there is no in between. Lebron is a great player, there is no doubt in that but you are judged by the championships you win, especially a player of his caliber.
Don't think so? Ask Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing or any of the other great players never to have won one.
It is what it is, you win your the greatest, you lose, your a bum. Is it fair, probably not but it goes both ways.
When Lebron said , not 1 , not 2 , not 3 , he put the pressure on himself and his teammates.
I wish he would tell ppl to just *** off and write whatever they want about him. Instead he tries to hard to sound intelligent and to satisfy everyone.
He tries so hard to be liked and loved as a superstar. He should be more outspoken about what he really feels.
Like when he was asked why he shrunk in the 4th on game 3 I think it was.
He got all defensive and tried to give a reason as to why he didnt shrink. He needs to do what needs to be done or just STFU and accept the criticism.

In pro sports you are judged by your legacy when you reach the super star level lebron has. Is it fair, probably not but it goes with the territory. When Kobe separated from Shaq and he was being crushed in the media, he had to put up or shut up.
If Kobe would have never won a title post Shaq, his legacy would not have been the same, it just wouldn't have. Lebron came to Miami in a very arrogant way, calls himself the King, has the million dollar houses, is ****ing all the hot chicks in Miami and was showered with nothing but love everyday from the fans when he signed.
Now that he lost in the Finals, there's another side of the coin to all that. It's the criticism and scrutiny that will fall his way.
It's like when someone can't handle the stress of their job and complain, if you can't deal with the stress, then find something else to do.
We know he's a millionaire, we know he's one of the best basketball players of all time, but he's playing for legacy now. Just like great fighters who reach that level have to go through it, so does he.
He should man the *** up and be classy about things, not attack the common man for your failures.

Only difference is, I don't constantly fail at MY job.

[QUOTE=squealpiggy;10686982]All sportsmen lose from time to time. This notion that anyone who loses ever is a perpetual loser is absurd.
He and his team lost in THE FINALS.
You can legitimately enjoy a braggart being temporarily brought low of course but to declare that braggart a "loser" whose "life is miserable" is laughable.
Sure. But criticism and scrutiny are different than the peanut gallery declaring him unsuccessful because he only made it to a level that the top 2% make it to, not the top 1%.
I thought it was a justified comment. Maybe he'd just finished reading NSB.

I'm officially done backing Lebron as a player and especially as a person. I was done being his fan after his decision to go to the Heat but I still backed him up as a player, but no more. The guy is a straight up douchebag/*******. I hope he never wins a title. And even better would be if the Cavaliers won one before he retires.
