What he said was absolutely true though. You only need to read the comments on this website to justify what he said. All of this "LeBron CHOKED! Man what a LOSER!" crap when this guy is orders of magnitude more successful in his field than any of you are in yours.

If you were leading a team in whatever your job is and managed to achieve second best team at doing whatever ON THE PLANET would you count that as failure? LeBron James may be a dullard like most professional sportsmen, but it would be a strange scale on which you could describe him as a failure.

All I've been hearing in the last week is "Lebron is underperforming, choking, etc., etc" compared to praise of Mavericks. Last time I checked, basketball was a team sport and there are other very capable players on the Heat. Why is he taking so much flack?..

He and his team made a couple bad publicity decisions but most of the hate is probably similar to the reason Mayweather is hated. Jealousy mostly.

I didn't say that, I was just answering Piggy. I'm not the guy who called him a loser in basketball or life. Piggy simply said he is 98% successful and I just said he will be measured against winning the title, great players always are.

You are lumping me in with some other argument man, relax.

Lebron is a great player but in the end, a player of his level will be measured against how many titles he has won, it's that simple.

They did it with Magic, Bird, MJ and Kobe. They will do it with lebron.

I'm officially done backing Lebron as a player and especially as a person. I was done being his fan after his decision to go to the Heat but I still backed him up as a player, but no more. The guy is a straight up douchebag/*******. I hope he never wins a title. And even better would be if the Cavaliers won one before he retires.

The sad thing is Lebron could have gone a long ways toward rehabilitating his image if he lost with some class it would have defused a lot of the hate, and put people on the "oh he paid his dues and took it like a man so I no longer have to root against him or really go at him over this situation" tip~

Well, he did congratulate Jason Kid from what I saw, this time. And he did admit that the blame goes to him when asked.

He sort of was forced to answer this way because of the question being pushed on to him? "Hey Lebron, what do you think about all the people who are happy tonight to see you fail?"

How the *** would you answer that? Ignore it? Spin it into something positive? It was a no-win situation.
