      Hope the players get crushed.

Owners deserve to make bank just like any other company does.

They get paid millions to play a game. Its not likethey're in some 3rd world country working for Nike.

Sad to see regular men like you defend billionaires that will be able to wipe their ass with 100 dollar bills for the rest of their life even if the NFL ceases to exist forever.
this is a business. these things happen.

before it was the players that wanted more and now it's the owners who want more.

        a strike/lockout will resolve it.

they'll play chicken for a bit but eventually one side will give in.

simple economics between who can outlast the other.

eventually one side will give in and we don't have to worry about it again for another 10-15-20 years.

no different from any other labor situations. in fact the players are lucky they have more power than most normal people.

you think they'll miss games , midnight?

            i don't think they will.

the owners lost their little "lockout" fund.

players will eventually back down and the owners won't push too hard.

30 percent of NFL players are living from pay check to pay check. Can anyone say SCAB?

Small market teams want big market teams to share their humongous profits.

Big market teams agree that there must be sharing.

Unfortunately, by sharing they mean the players should share.

                  Smart isn't it?

                    yeah i see it collapsing.

but i do however feel that some of the major players will still want to hold out.

so maybe we will have teams of 3rd stringers next year

but to be honest college football will still be there so im not really too worried

They just announced that a lockout is coming tonight. TBH, I would be excited for a lockout. I may be the minority but I have felt professional football has went in the tubes over the last 15 years. College football was big before the NFL hit its stride so it would have little effect on that either. I'd rather see the NFL go away so those athletes can be stirred to boxing. I care about boxing more than the NFL.
