The orgin of the world is Latin. IN Spanish it is Instransgente. Romance Languages are developed from vulger prounounciation of Latin. Such as French, Spanish, Italian. When there was no mass communication such things would happen. The way the word came into English dialect was from France. I dont know what would be the point of changing the spelling from intransigeant to intransigent. Especially when in Queen's English they keep the e's on teh end of the words and the U's in there.

I would hope that was comprehensive enough so we can have no more questions about this.

BoxingCollector was linking to a white supremacy site that is auto-censored if you type it; Sweet **** Willy posted some unpopular political opinions (his banning was BS in my opinion, but he's back - kind of); acquitted had a thread called "true thugs" that had black men lynching victims hanging from a tree; ***_Neilz got banned for trolling I believe, but not until she (someone's alias I think) changed her name as a tribute to me, apparently; that happens a lot - people putting up usernames that mimic someone else's and spell the name wrong or put a period after or whatever - they usually get banned, too

you get banned if you make a goodbye thread (even if you're doing it as a stunt - I found that out and was gone for a few days), or a Schmeling's corpse thread (send my friend Anorak a pm and ask him about that one)

or if you're from another boxing site here to make trouble

When did I contend French and Latin were the same language? That would be an utterly ridiculous contention and one of course I would never make.

Your peabrain does not comprehend the development of language apparently because I layed it all out quite concisely.

The word Intrasigeance is the French pronouncing of the Latin word transigere. Intransigent is the English pronounciation and spelling of the French word Intransigeance. But it all goes back to the Latin word Transigere. That is why the word Instransigeance in some form or spelling exists in all Romance languages. Like I said in Italian it is Intrasgente. Romance languages are developed from from what is called "vulger" pronounciation of Latin.
