The A's have made a lot of good moves this offseason. I still despair of them ever beating the Tigers in the playoffs though. Any other team I'd be confident against.

Craig Gentry is a damn good outfielder....guy has incredible speed and
should do well as a singles/doubles hitter in that giant ballpark.

Angels traded Trumbo to Arizona in a 3 team trade involving the White Sox.

Cano should have followed suit. Then again, I guess the break up was a little bitter, because the Yankees had the money to pay Cano, while the Blue Jays couldn't have resigned Halladay without it costing an arm for them.

The Mariners are pretty desperate. They should just focus on rebuilding rather than making big acquisitions. They have two of the best players in baseball, but in that division of killers you need a real team to win.
