    should suicide be a crime?

    why should i stop somebody from ending their life?
    who am I to have this right of controlling someone else's life?
    what you guys think?

    Good question.

    Of course you're going to read the usual responses about how "It's the cowards way out" and you should "let them be cowards". But then again some people have actual mental issues and are threats to themselves.

    If they're a threat to themselves they're probably a threat to others.

    At least that's my .02

              that's a specific case, but i'm talking about ethics.
              if a normal person just decides to end it, should he/she be allowed?
              let's say he/she finds life boring & pointless.
              what do you do with such an individual?

                  You would punish those that facilitated the act. A doctor, for example, that administered a drug for the purposes of ending a person's life.

                    Ah you're talking about assisted suicide. I think that in certain cases it should be allowed if it's to prevent further suffering or for terminal illnesses.
