    Is College/University for ppl who cant handle hard work?

    I've always felt like ppl in post secondary schooling are lazy and in school so they dont gotta make an honest livin doin hard work

        a lot of the time, people who work for a living are intimidated by academics and full time students are intimidated by the prospect of having to actually work.

          Yes. That's the reason why I worked full time for 4 years before starting uni, and work a part time job during term time along with my studies.

            better have a degree of some kind to get in the door

              No, it's about education.

              I just can't stand it when people act like they have a sense of entitlement merely because they earned a college degree.

              I have a Bachelors in business Administration.

              Yet I'm the only person who ISN'T all Whoopty do about that piece of paper. Doesn't mean much to me.

              I moreso did it for my mind.

                College is useless. I know cuz' I went.

                Unless you're majoring in science, engineering or something useful, you're throwing your money away.

                Better off learning a trade.
