              the golden age of basketball was the 80s...when Magic and Larry ruled...even the great MJ couldnt do **** until the legends got old


              look, whatever happened with your sister and kobe in Colorado should have ZERO bearing on how you judge his on court skills

                Would you pass up AI to take a hometown kid in 1996 when AI was the best player in the draft? AI was a better player than Kobe in 1996 and had more fans. Imagine the 76'ers drafted Kobe instead of AI and Kobe became a bust and AI went down as one of the greatest players of all time... the fans would kill the front office for taking Kobe over AI. Can't really blame them for taking AI over Kobe in 1996.

                People don't know this... the Nets were going to draft Kobe, but Kobe told them he was not going to play for the Nets or any other team except for the Lakers. GM's decided to pass on Kobe because he pretty much forced his way to LA, lol.
