Is 26-28 To Old To Go To University?

Do you guys think that being 26-28 yrs old is to old to start a University course? Bearing in mind that the course will take 4 years and then you might have to do a year work placement before your fully qualified to start your career (depending on what the career is). So you would be in your early 30s before your ready to start your chosen career!

What you guys think? Please state your reasoning for whatever poll option you picked, thanks.

      Go for it.

I've seen people graduating at the age of 50.

            No way.

At my college, there's a good number of students who are 30+. In fact, in one of my classes, there two guys that have to be at least 60 years old. No joke.

Nah it's not to old at all but I would advise staying as far away as you can from halls of residence.

I will try again next year... at 30

My wife will end her career next year too, we are both the same age. I had to leave the university and supported her to finish her career, and she will return the favor now

I purposely put off finishing my college program (Finance) for 3 years because I was too immature and didn't have the time to fully commit to my education.

I am now 27 and back in school full time and I can honestly say it was a great decision. I am older and more disciplined with a lot fewer distractions. I am comfortable financially so I am not stressing about paying my tuition or bills and my grades reflect it.

Honestly, you're a fool if you don't do it now. It sounds like you know it's your best option and you just want someone to reaffirm it.

Depending on what field you want to get into you will definitely be looking at the possibility of age discrimination if you get into your mid-late 30's without finishing your education.
