The maximum size of the White shark?

For all those making these bold statements about marine life, How many of you have actually seen a Great White or Orca in the wild?

I have had the extreme pleasure and luck to have seen Orcas in the wild on a couple of occasions as well as a S-perm Whale over 40ft long. I was on a 40ft Sportsfishing yacht and it was bigger than the boat. In the fall I plan on spending time in the San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest kayaking and looking for Orcas. Then I am going to go whale watching in California , starting in the north and working my way south. I have always been fascinated by whales and Orcas in particular ( yes, I know that they are actually in the dolphin family ). Seeing the S-perm Whale so close up was as close as I have ever been to feeling anything that I would call a " Spiritual experience " since I don't believe in anything supernatural. I feel a connection and a kinship with the whales and dolphins , they are the people of the sea is how I would describe them. I hope to still be alive when we finally decipher their languages and are able to communicate with them.
