So I finally watched The Sopranos

I know it's a highly rated show but I thought it was a comedy or something.

After y'all guys strongly recommend me watching I sat down and start watching....

Man I fkn love this show. Lol.

Tbh I enjoy the family BS more than the Mafia stuff.

And OMG Chris wife so ***y asf. I remember her on sons of anarchy but her character made her kinda unattractive.

But I'm on season 3 episode 7 so don't spoil anything past it.

I'm curious if I will have to change my favorite/best TV shows of all time.

It's right up there.
We binged the entire series last year after watching it on the first run almost 20 years earlier.
It help up so well, which is the mark of an ATG.
Don't get me started, I could talk for hours about the show, the characters, plot lines....

I’m biased because I love the Mafia genre but it truley is objectively an incredible show. The writing is exceptional.

The only show I think is better personally is The Wire, which for me stands alone. But, The Sopranos is #2 by quite the margin for me. Love the show.

The Wire and Breaking Bad are the other two shows that seem to have the same "best ever" buzz, but I haven't watched either of those.
The Sopranos had the magic of great everything: writing, direction, casting, continuity of plot lines, character arcs, and yeah, the Mafia milieu is a huge draw, too, when done well.

Sopranos is in my top 3 if not my favorite TV series of all time.
