When have I denied that part of Clark’s appeal her being White? It way more than that but it’s part of it.
I already said my 4 favorite players ever were Walton,Bird,Clark and Wilt.

You know this is a new idiotic talking point to take about fmvp awards correct? Bird was the best player in thst series the finals was not even their toughest series . The Philly series was the toughest and easily the best team Boston beat. Bird was easily the mvp in that series.
He won the Finals MVP. Period. Stop with the excuses. Bird was not the best player in the finals according to the majority white media that votes on the award.

There was no Conference Finals MVP. Stop moving the goalposts.

What you’re doing in this post- trying to award the white player for something he didn’t earn or win- is what black people push back against.

You like her because she is white and perceived hetero***ual. We all see it. Just admit it and leave be.

You don’t care about her skill in any way. If Clark were black, Hispanic or gay you wouldn’t celebrate her in any way because she wouldn’t be white and hetero, therefore you wouldn’t identify with her or have the weird stalker vibe.

You threw Wilt in there. Nothing about you suggests you liked Walton or Wilt.

The only plausible way you might like Walton is because the world was different then and you set aside your hate for the anti war, weed smoking, l I b e r a l because he was white.

He was a vote of a few people which means nothing.
in 1980 the same people admitted that they gave the fmvp to Magic just because he was there to present the award to. They wanted to give it Jabbar who deserved it.
I am not making the case that Bird was better than Magic. I Have then tied.

So now you are telling me who I like. Lol.
I like Clark because of the way she plays as much as anything.
I liked Walton because of the way he played. Wilt was my favorite until he retired.

It’s so funny watching you keep saying she should’ve been given a spot after months of you arguing against alleged DEI hires.

What you want is a white/ hetero***ual DEI spot given to Clark.

Olympic spots are not always earned, unfortunately. There are a lot of politics at play, as Ogunbawole noted when withdrawing herself from consideration.

And there is no greater example of those politics than the real DEI hire—old lesbo hot garbage Taurasi. Had Caitlin Clark been selected and given her minutes then she would have put up better numbers than her. No doubt at all in my mind.

Yes but she earned a spot and lost out because of politics. Clark didn’t.

Maybe. Again you’re assuming she would be given minutes instead of being honest she wouldn’t get any unless it’s a blowout.

Clark holds the record for the most points ever scored in NCAA Division I, she could easily have been given a spot on the team based on that alone. It would not have been a handout or white privilege in any way.

Just like how Christian Laettner got a spot on the original Dream Team as a rookie.

Listen to what I’m saying. IF Caitlin had been picked and IF she was given the same minutes as Taurasi she would be hard pressed NOT to put up a better stat line. And the Olympic team would be better for it. If they chose not to play her out of politics (which I wouldn’t put past these petty b-tches) then sure, they could keep her down.

Spots aren’t given. They are earned. No white hetero DEI placements. She hadn’t earned a spot.

Laettner hadn’t been drafted yet. Many thought Shaq should’ve been given that spot. But they knew that player wasn’t going to play.

Listen back- Taurasi has barely played. She only has played because of her status. Clark, being young, like Haliburton, wouldn’t even be given the token minutes Diana got unless we were up by 35 at a minimum) that is because seeding is based on point differential).

No the Olympic team wouldn’t. No team is better off when an undeserving player gets a spot.

She would be the equivalent of Bronny at this point. Is she better than him, of course. But like him her spot wouldn’t have been earned and that destroys team chemistry.
