I don’t think she uses her fame for anyone but herself. But clearly she has coattails that others ride.

Sounds pretty talented to me. And that she's ultimately good for the league. She's probably perceived as some kind of white hope, like when someone like Jim Jeffries or Rocky Marciano came along in boxing. Or, like Larry Holmes used to say, she has "the right complexion to make the connection." That was when Holmes made the most money in his career fighting Gerry Cooney since he fought the corpse of Ali. He said he made more fighting a white guy than he did fighting 3 black guys. She is a good player and definitely good for the league. I think Stan and those like him perceive her that way- which is fair given she connects to a group of fans that the WNBA could never really connect with.

If you actually watched the games ( I have not missed one yet ) you would know that the reason Clark is not averaging 15 assists a game is because her teammates can’t finish while Lebron doesn’t have that problem.
