Caitlin Clark is one of the greatest women’s college basketball players of all time. There’s no argument to be made about that.

She is in her rookie year in the WNBA so let’s see what happens as she gains more experience and develops further. She’s already breaking WNBA records regardless. But based on her college pedigree alone she absolutely deserves all the marketing and promotion and attention she is getting.

Had Clark been black, with the same accomplishments and records broken, same rookie performance to date, would the league and networks market her the same?
