I don't get why these losers are so upset that Caitlin Clark is better than all of these trashy dykes?

This infusion of funds is designed to grow the league in a variety of ways, WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a phone interview. Clearly, the long dealmaking process—which Engelbert said had taken the better part of two years, delayed by the pandemic—left her time to develop her wishlist for spending the money.

“Deploying capital against what I'll call broadly a digital transformation,” she said. “But to get a little more specific: WNBA.com, our app, League Pass, our other digital tools, our ability to glean data about our fans and have more consumer touch points— know where our fans want to consume our product. And our merchandise strategy—obviously, we’ve had no capital to evolve a merchandising strategy.”

Still, the WNBA's extra measures (read: expenditures) for the 2024 season suggested that the league was finally turning a corner toward profitably.

Peaks of what? Like your flat chest?? or your puffy nips?

Read the underlined from the above quotes from these 2 articles. Last leg, struggling kind of the same thing don't you think?
No, struggling is not the same thing as on its last leg, you idiot. First of all, I don't even see the word "struggling" mentioned there.

Any given season, multiple NBA teams might not turn a profit. In 2023, only 9 NBA teams turned a profit. That does not mean they are on their "last legs."

How ****** do you have to be to post an article about all the investors wanting a part of the league in the 2022 season to try to say the league is on its last leg

What the 2023 WNBA season will tell us about the future of the league

Indeed, new media rights deals and expansion loom large on the horizon, and the WNBA’s 27th season should reveal much about what the league’s future will look like. That future appears bright, but the competition’s powerbrokers will be keen to ensure that the ongoing discourse around pay and working conditions does not have a ripple effect on any upcoming commercial discussions.

The Scripps deal comes as TV ratings for the WNBA and women’s basketball in general continue to soar. Regular season viewership last season compared to 2021 and the playoffs were hailed as . The recent WNBA Draft, meanwhile, delivered 572,000 viewers, up 42 per cent on last year, which came a week after a record in the Women’s March Madness final.

That all bodes well for the WNBA as it prepares to negotiate its next national media rights deal from 2026 onwards. Engelbert told The Athletic that the process will begin in 12 to 18 months and said she saw the Scripps deal as an “absolutely positive sign” ahead of going to market.

So how did the WNBA wind up doing in 2023???? Oh that's right. It did the best its ever done in attendance, viewership, etc.

The WNBA this year had its most-watched regular season in 21 years. Viewership across its national television partners – ABC, CBS, ESPN and ESPN2 – was up 21 percent over the 2022 season. The league also set new highs across WNBA digital platforms, social media engagement and sports betting.

        .

Looks like you are wrong. Provide ONE CREDIBLE SOURCE that says the WNBA was on its last leg. I'll walt........

If you can't....buzz off kid. I know you said you're in school. Class is dismissed.

In the video description ESPN stated that the record was for both the NBA and the WNBA. False or not, it is certainly true that this game made it two historic, all-time WNBA accomplishments in less than a week for Caitlin.

You’re desperately grasping at straws now. Pathetic.
Larry Bird wasn't the same as Michael Jordan, dummy. While Larry Bird was playing against Jordan and dropping 27, Jordan was scoring 44. Jordan scored over 60 points against Larry Bird.

Now imagine if Jordan were White. You still can't understand that, can you dummy?

Larry Bird had about 2 more prime years when Jordan was entering the league, and when he played, he and Magic were tasked with saving the league. You have no idea what you are talking about, as usual.

And I told you that you are wrong because you have no idea what you are talking about. It was not a record for the NBA. Maybe you should pay more attention instead of running with what you read so quickly. That's why you always get shlt wrong here.

The only one grasping at straws here is you, ducky. Of course Reese's game with her rival who is huge partially because of a race element was going to be a highly watched game. You ducked the context because you know you have no argument

I notice you want to keep talking but you also want to keep ducking, too. Tell me. Does Cameron Brink and Paige Bueckers know more about this than you and me? Let me know what you think, bro. Stop ducking like a bltch

Is she better than A'ja Wilson?

Last I checked, Clark wasn't rated in the top 25.

I do think her recent play has been excellent and I think she will break into the top 10 soon enough.

              Shining.

Caitlin Clark Has Ended WNBA Rookie of Year Debate
“Everyone needs to be honest with themselves, there is no WNBA Rookie of the Year debate. That's no slight to Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky by the way. But Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is much closer to being in the conversation for MVP than she is to any serious discussion about best rookie. There is simply no way one can watch Clark play and say otherwise, as she is the best point guard in the W already.”

OOOPS. Larry Bird agrees with me What you have to say now, dummy

During an ESPN interview in 2004, interviewer Jim Gray asked Larry Bird, arguably the best White player in NBA history, if the .

"Well, I think so," said Bird, the Indiana Pacers' president of basketball operations. "You know, when I played, you had me and Kevin [McHale] and some others throughout the league. I think it's good for a fan base because, as we all know, the majority of the fans are white America. And if you just had a couple of white guys in there, you might get them a little excited. But it is a black man's game, and it will be forever. I mean, the greatest athletes in the world are African-American."

Bird wasn’t saying anything that 99% of NBA ownership and then NBA commissioner David Stern hadn’t been saying under their breath for years. The National Basketball Association has spent 30 years looking for its Great White Hope. A White player with that rare combination of championship mettle, ESPN highlight level play and off-court charisma, that will supposedly lure White fans back to a league that is dominated by Black players and culture.

Not over till it's over, but she is currently my pick for Rookie of the Year.

Doesn't invalidate anything that you have been ducking here, though

None of that has anything to do with Caitlin Clark being where she is because she’s a great, generational talent. Not because of “white privilege.”

                    What is earned isn’t privilege.

                    Try harder.

So basketball has nothing to do with basketball?????

You are a clown and Larry Bird exposed you

Does being White increase her marketability? According to Larry it does....and you can't handle it
