What happens now is what usually happens; a coalition government is to be formed. Holland has umphteen parties out of which will be made a patchwork to create a new government. In other words, Wilder's program will not be upheld to law 1:1, but from what I can gather, it was specifically the migration policies that caused his succes, so something on that front will surely happen (if he gets into the government).

The other things in his rather populistic agenda such as out of EU and stop aid for Ukraine is not gonna happen. In particular the Ujraine aid has massive support in the ditch population since it was the russians that shot down the passenger-jet over the Donbas killing hundreds of dutch in 2014.
I understand very well how a coalition government works, being Canadian...we have them all too often, as we do right now, so I understand what is needed to form a minority government and how vulnerable they are to collapse. But it will still be interesting to see how this plays out.

The ******s have declared Shaia law in many parts of England. IMO, this is the start of bad things to come.

            **UPDATE**

Far-right firebrand Geert Wilders to forgo Dutch PM job

Months after surprisingly coming out on top in the Netherlands' election, far-right leader Geert Wilders has said he does not have the political support to become the next prime minister.

Dutch far-right leader said Wednesday he would not seek the role of next prime minister.

Wilders' Party for Freedom won the last year, but he failed to persuade potential to get the top job.

"I can only become Prime Minister if all parties in the coalition support it. That was not the case," Wilders wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

            Right-wing coalition on the cards

Wilders, known for his radical anti-immigration, Islamophobic politics and staunch Euroskepticism, was in talks with the center-right People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, populist Farmer Citizen Movement, and centrist New Social Contract to attempt to form a right-wing coalition.

"I really wanted a right-wing Cabinet. Less asylum and immigration. Dutch people number 1," Wilders wrote on X. "The love for my country and voters is bigger and more important than my own position."

Dutch national broadcaster NOS had earlier reported they were considering a scenario in which the party leaders would remain in parliament and not join the new government.

"My expectation is that these parties will take the next step in the Cabinet formation," the man overseeing the negotiations, Kim Putters, said on Tuesday. He was due to report to Dutch lawmakers on Thursday.

That sets up the likelihood of a technical Cabinet where politicians and experts not considered closely allied to any of the parties would be appointed to top government posts and work closely with parliament.

Although Wilders will not lead the government, he and his Party for Freedom will remain a significant force behind the administration.

I’m not surprised really. I am eager to see the politics of the new government though. That and the EU parliament election later this year.

Grab your popcorn I guess. I don’t follow Dutch politics that much, but it has taken some time already to form a new government.
