stay away from vending machines!!! all them youtube videos of vending machine owners saying they make good money, most are capping!!! in order to make good money from a vending machine, you need to have it placed in the right location. a place where it gets busy with a lot of foot traffic and find a place where they dont charge you for rent... otherwise, you will not make much.. i owned a vending machine a few years ago, i had it placed at a warehouse that sell parts for machines, they did not charge me for rent or anything but i did not make much for it. it was a waste of time. i sold it last year.

If your neighborhood is decent, there shouldn't be much to worry about.
I wouldn't expect to become a baller but, low maintenance hussulls

ATMs are usually owned by banks or have routes. Hard to get those placed.

here's the thing tho... owning a vending machine comes with maintenance... vending machines in neighborhood, apartment complex, etc.. sounds good but it's actually a bad idea... people will come and try to get free shiiet by messing with the vending machine, etc.. because it is not being monitor and is open to all, a lot of folks will come and mess with your vending machine, so in return you'll end up wasting money fixing shiiet on your vending machine. the best place to put your vending machine is at a company that have multiple shift. find a place that wont charge you for rent.
