Baltimore Mayor Calls For Citywide Curfew After All Hell Breaks Out--"we are going back to the old days"!

All hell broke out on Sunday night in Baltimore City's Inner Harbor district when gunshots were heard, causing hundreds of spring break youngsters to scatter through the streets. The mayhem, captured on video, resembled an apocalyptic scene. As a result, Mayor Brandon Scott has proposed a citywide curfew for minors during the upcoming summer months.

Baltimore City Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said more than 200 "young people" went running after ******* rang out just 50 feet from police officers, according to . A 14yo and a 16yo suffered gunshot wounds.

"Either they [the kids] don't care about consequences or don't believe the consequences, and they have no respect for human life or the sanctity of life or authority to pull off that brazen cowardly act right there in the presence of police officers," said Harrison.

Mayor Scott said youth curfews would be implemented for the summer period.

"I want everyone to hear me and hear me very clearly. We are going back to the old days. We will be enforcing the use of youth curfew in Baltimore as we move into the later Spring and Summer months," the mayor said.

how does it feel to vote into political power the very political entity that created the KKK, fought to keep slavery going during the civil war, and now, today, the party that controls the overwhelmingly majority of territory that black people live in at a 90% rate?

******* at the harbor is a regular occurance in B'more. I raised our second boy in Baltimore and he sometimes hung in the hood... Its very nerve racking to be a parent in that city. As far as mayors? well B'more has two mayors that were eventually federally indicted... Its a hot mess for sure.

How did it all happen? Baltimore was decimated by redlining after the good war. You had a Black Middle Class the likes of Creole New Orleans. Well... all those properties that did not sell? they stand today as monuments. Any real estate person who knows about buildings and construction will never fail to mention those "great bones" left to rot in Baltimore hoods.

My point is not to create a victim here. But Baltimore was really destroyed economically and it never really recovered. White flight, and drug epidemics were the two final nails in the coffin. To this day Baltimore has pockets where Aids infections are on par with the hardest hit nations on Earth... and Aids is rampent whether you hear about it, or not.

new orleans has been under ******** control since the 50s and 60s.

NYC had/has the same crime problems.

NYC is a much more complex, populated city than baltimore and it took one law and order ********** to get that city's crime under control. then they called him racist and its been ******** mayors ever since and well....

NYC is back to its regularly scheduled crime wave programming.

It is Baltimore dude!! The fact that he is not wearing a prison jumper, not photoed behind plexiglass/bars is a major step up! Maryland has history... Not only Baltimore lol. I remember In college, Southern Maryland, Dyson was reelected as treasurer and the victory party was held in the prison cell he occupied (embezzling state funds ). Shelia Dixon, indicted on a gift card scamming as mayor of Baltimore... and the mayor prior to this one indicted on a scam involving children's books.
