no surge in hospitalisations in the worst hit part of the UK. but we need xmas lockdown to 'protect the NHS'?
Great news that the small population of Brackley in Northamptonshire is doing well, but that article also shows how the large population of London has seen Omicron become dominant at the same time hospital admission have risen, suggesting a link.

You really need Koba back. Glad I took you off my ignore list so I can see this nonsense you post.
Busy with RL stuff at the moment and probably gonna step back a bit over Xmas... plus Ms Koba giving me grief about the amount of time I spend staring at screens and ignoring the family (and won't lie, she probably got a very good point.. ). And what time I have got once everyone gone to bed I got the Pick Em and other actual boxing stuff I enjoy more than talking about this stuff, although I'm sure I'll be dropping in from time to time.

FWIW Robbie and Clegg are doing a fine job of of pointing out some of the glaring holes in the stuff dudes like you and Madison are posting. Honestly it don't take any kind of technical expertise (not that I claim to be any kinda expert anyway) just a reasonable level of critical thinking... and y'know actually attempting to read, understand and contextualise the information presented. I nearly pointed out myself that the Lancet letter was simply an opinion sent in to them and not an offical viewpoint or sanctioned opinion of the Lancet itself but things like that are so incredibly obvious they shouldn't even need pointing out. Besides Clegg beat me to it.

And **** even the opinion letter doesn't claim that the unvaccinated are 'not the issue' more that it's divisve and innaccurate to claim that they're the sole issue.

not exactly a huge increase tho is it, 100 more a day in a city of 10 million or so. just to reiterate 22000 died from flu a few years back, people get bugs in winter and the NHS has to work harder. overwhelmed my ****ing arse

No, not a huge increase. While you say you see scaremongering everywhere, I see a lot of politicians and scientists being clear that this strain is less deadly than the last one. That's why we've had more positive tests than ever before this week but still haven't locked down. But it's also understandable people are concerned until we know for sure just what % need hospital care, and we don't know that yet as it's usually 2 weeks after infection that people go into hospital.

who would have thought it, another false alarm. scientists saying it was 'horrifying' 'worst moment of the pandemic' 'pandemic v2.0' and once again they were wrong. well i guess their tactics were right, scare everyone into having another booster.

Lol I love how they say that natural immunity doesn't work but now they're saying they think the low numbers are from natural immunity. Haha this is a chit show.

What is the average time between infection and hospitalisation?

Take that number away from today’s date and tell me how many infections there were on that day.

                      You are a cretin
