A 'fishing expedition' I think they call it... a deliberately overbroad request for information that they're hoping will turn up actionable material - but in this case one that cannot be practically met on a reasonable timescale... although of course major businesses and governemental organisations also deliberately use voluminous documentation as tactic of their own to foil such FOI requests (go watch Dark Waters for a good example of Dupont using exactly that strategy) so it'll be interesting to see which way the judge jumps on this one.

its getting quite chilling now. you are seeing a real divide in the public and blame going on the unvaccinated for all the problems. i read an article today in our national news from a doctor saying hes not inviting his unvaccinated friends to go out with him anymore, despite having 3 vaccines himself. for him, these people arent welcome to social events anymore. you are seeing relentless propaganda from the media to blame a minority for a countries problems. you are seeing people being stripped of their jobs, not allowed to mix in certain areas with the vaccinated, people encouraged to ring police if they see anything su****ious, people being put in vans and taken into camps in some countries. whats next, an equivalent to a star of david so people know whos vaccinated and not? more camps to separate them?

the majority of people are extremely vulnerable to propaganda, you are seeing a lot of the tactics that were employed in 1930s germany. people laugh at me for saying that but i have read a lot on the subject as i find it interesting how a few individuals can control the masses and the governments have been reading too by the looks of things because the approach is almost mirrored- focused propaganda and small changes over time that are so insignificant that people dont notice the accumulation of liberties taken away from them until its too late. All these things are for the greater good apparantly, and the good citizens dont have to worry.

what would an australian have said 2 years ago if you told them people were being rounded up on the streets and taken to camps? police roaming the streets, megaphones with covid messages being emitted telling people to get indoors, use of violence. They would have said exactly what people in this thread are saying 'stop watching alex jones' and laughing about the 'crazy people on internet', because of course these things wont happen in our civilised society, how could it possibly happen in the western world, we have learnt the lessons from the past, just like the people in the past would have thought they were more educated than the people who came before them. its just a mask, its just a vaccine, its just a booster, its just media outlets trying to hide unhelpful messages to the greater good (censorship) its just people losing their jobs and rights when they dont comply (who cares anyway, these people are 'uneducated' and 'not following the science'), its just people knocking on the door, its just 4 year olds being placed outside in sheds at school,its just people being put in camps and arrested if they try to leave. Koba summed it up brilliantly, albeit unintentionally, 'most people are just shrugging their shoulders and getting on with it'.

how far are we really away from these people being cut off from society completely if they arent jabbed? Maybe something even worse. The goverments actions havent worked, lockdowns, masks, the promised miracle vaccine for the vulnerable. 2 years down the line we are still under restrictions and facing winter lockdowns, now the tried and tested tactic that has worked throughout the whole of human history is back in play- blame the minority for all the problems. and thats exactly what is starting to happen....

And how long will it be before we have another new variety? A few months? As some point, we've got to decide that we either have a society, or we don't. This is going to demolish the world economy and the virus will become endemic to human populations and constantly evolving. If it's not killing huge numbers of people, there's no reason to overreact. Besides the virus, an economic depression kills people too. Totally disgusted with the way this is being handled. Thanks, Chinese government, for careless lab standards that allowed this lab virus to escape.
