I'm excluded from low rates on supplemental heath insurance on life insurance which is fair. Nobody else should have to take on a burden because I am addiced to smoking. Nobody else should have to breathe my second hand smoke. The day is coming where I may have to pay an extra fee for hospital care if it's determined that the cause is smoking. Yeah I have an issue with heatlhy people that choose not to get vaccinated, carry Covid and spread it to others. Not being vaccinated potentially has a huge impact on the health of others that breathe the same air. That sheep remark is just plain ****** by the way.
Vaccinated people in ICU numbers are actually quite high lately.
As a smoker who’s vaxxed you’re quite preachy about a respiratory virus. I’m not a smoker and I’m unvaxxed. You’re better than me, somehow, because you took an experimental vaccine instead of making a constant effort of living a healthier lifestyle?
And again. VACCINATED PEOPLE CARRY AND SPREAD THE VIRUS.Last edited by Vlad_; 01-17-2022, 07:29 AM.

Did you ever get vaccinated?. Simple question. Yes or no.

Many countries are currently seeing record numbers of infections, including the UK, US, most of Europe and Asia, but hospital admissions only show a modest or even no serious increase.
In South Africa, where Omicron was first in November, infection rates are dropping rapidly and most experts believe the Omicron wave and other countries should expect the same cycle in the next few months.
Dr Vishal Sehgal, president of medical services at Portea MeMedical in India, told the Times of India that “Omicron acts as a natural vaccine and proves beneficial as it is less life-threatening.”
A number of experts around the world are convinced the world is currently seeing the tail of the pandemic, based on other virus outbreaks in history.
Dr Namita Jaggi of Artemis Hospitals in India told various media outlets that “pandemics have traditionally speaking petered out by having variants that are milder and less severe till they finally die out.”
“So no, Omicron is not a cause of concern, rather we must optimistically hope that we are moving towards the end of the pandemic,” Jaggi said."
so you say follow the science, but when i follow what the scientists say then im a moron? or is it just a case that i have to follow the scientists that agree with your agenda?

Infection generates immunity. The “SIREN” study in the Lancet addressed the relationships between seropositivity in people with previous COVID-19 infection and subsequent risk of severe acute respiratory syndrome due to SARS-CoV-2 infection over the subsequent 7-12 months (2). Prior infection decreased risk of symptomatic re-infection by 93%. A large cohort study published in JAMA Internal Medicine looked at 3.2 million US patients and showed that the risk of infection was significantly lower (0.3%) in seropositive patients v/s those who are seronegative (3%) (3).
Perhaps even more important to the question of duration of immunity is a recent study that has demonstrated the presence of long-lived memory immune cells in those who have recovered from COVID-19 (4). This implies a prolonged (perhaps years) capacity to respond to new infection with new antibodies.
In contrast to this collective data demonstrating both adequate and long-lasting protection in those who have recovered from COVID-19, the duration of vaccine-induced immunity is not fully known - but breakthrough infections in Israel, Iceland and in the US suggests a few months."
