Each issue has to be weighed individually, that's really all there is to it. The fact that people would get their marching shoes on based on fake news about him trying to break up for a fight. For some guy who was really endangering children, and harassing his Ex is troubling.

Your hypothetical is a false equivalency. You can't create that exact same scenario that Rittenhouse had that night.
