Is a Civil War in the US inevitable?

Good morning, turds. I haven't posted much this year and I can't even remember the last time I started a new thread. As usual, I hope you're all doing well yet rotting at the same time.

Moving along... I strongly believe that a Civil war will break out in the next couple of years if political division continues to follow the current trend. If Americans do not find a way to get along with/tolerate one another, it will only be a matter of time before things get really ugly. Not gonna bother pointing out who I think is to blame as that will only undermine the purpose of this thread. I'm genuinely concerned about the future of this country and if we are gonna resolve things, it will take effort from both sides. For those wondering what my political stance is- I'm a left-leaning moderate registered as an independent.

Do you think we're heading for a Civil War? Is there a way to avoid it? And if not, will it be a cold war or hot war? Please discuss.

The only thing that is stopping real political violence in the US right now are laws and punishments. If you took those away there would be serious political violence in the US right now. I think you probably have to go back to the civil war for another time where this would be true.
Hard to say about the future. I do think if things keep going there will at least be some skirmishes.
It might be time to self separate.

yeah there will be. i said this at the start of pandemic and got laughed at, youll see in the history books in 50 years that covid was the trigger for what will be one of the worst periods in human history. People are fed up, economies are suffering society is even more divided with more and more people moving to extremes of polical spectrem theres a lot of anger brewing and we are only a flash point away from full scale world war breaking out. europe is looking like an even bigger mess than america btw.

There may be some extremists from both sides that do some terrorizing but there wont be an all out war.

I did hear that U.S. special forces are training in Hawaii to get ready for a war with China and Russia.

I'm interested in what way you think Europe is in a bigger mess right now , to me it seems more stable then America at the moment

It's way past time. We have Hitler making mandates. Taking away the right for you to feed your kids and pay your bills.
You have stores ect saying vaxxed only. You have inflation and gas prices, add food prices and rent prices. Meanwhile, they're trying to print more money that's not paid for as the CBO said yesterday. That means more inflation.

              Let's get this chit started.

I think so yes , it's not just that there are differences , it's that the differences are so large that i don't see how you could overcome those.
And a big part is the media in all of this.

youve got ********* attacks happening regularly- weve had two UK ********* attacks in space of a few weeks and usually read weekly about something going on in other countries. youve got belarus arming immigrants and fighting with the polish, russia switching off gas supplies to drive up prices. theres polarisation in every country, governments locking people down and thinking its acceptable to force vaccines on people. woke culture is hitting the continent hard. its a ****ing mess. the one thing america hasnt dont what europe did is open the door to the enemy, youve got extremists in all the continent here now , 1 day last week 1000 arrived in boats in one day to the UK because we have fallen out with the french and they are happy for us to have them. europe (mainly germanys fault) invited the fox into the damn hen house.
