''Lamar Jackson should be 1st $50 mil man. $300 mil fully guaranteed.''

Balt defensive ranks during LJ's career -
      2021) 19th (12th in strength of schedule) 8-9 .471 LAST
(They're chalking this up to an injury plagued year...timing is everything)

      2020) 2nd (30th in strength of schedule) 11-5 .688 2ND
      2019) 3rd (20th in strength of schedule) 14-2 .857 1ST
      2018) 2nd (21st in strength of schedule) 10-6 .600 1ST

He has led the league in 1 PASSING STAT, 36 tds.
He is a QB after all.

      Pedestrian postseason stats

When the schedule got harder, his td's went down, losses and int's went up.

Wow....Lamar runs so well for a QB (or is he a RB who can throw a lil)

2022, their strength of schedule will be 23rd (the sweet spot for improving stats).

I wonder if RG III did any research

        Those are interesting stats.

        What offense does Baltimore run?

Have you had a look at the overall QB market?

Salaries are going up for everyone. Murray is only highly paid for now.

Soon Herbert, Burrow, Jackson, and Allen will crush this contract.

            Not a fan so I can't say.
If he is worth $50 mil, AA Ron is worth $150 and Brady worth $500 per year.
Mugs getting rich and not really earning it.

Mahomes even said as much. Todays highest paid will fall in a year or 2.
These QBs who are flashy yet unproven in a way that benefits the team....What has any of them actually done ?

NFL is paying for all those players from yester year who were jerked.
Murray is not worth that money.
              Nowhere near it.
But now that he has his money, let's see if he keeps up his end of the ''bargain''.

Jackson is worth all that and more. He obviously isnt better then Brady or Rodgers, but if you watch Baltimore play you will see that Jackson is everything to that offense. He is their entire system.

QBs today have the NFL over a barrel. You either have a very good QB or you are complete trash, and being average is worse then being trash. So it doesnt matter who has proven what. Guys with potential can name their price when its their turn to get paid. Doesn't mean the QBs will earn it (Wentz & Geoff), but you cant afford to not take that chance.

The D wins the games (when the schedule is weak).
                    He doesn't lose them.
He will no doubt have a comeback season, since they have the 23rd ''toughest'' schedule.
And let me know when he takes them deep into the postseason.

There are levels even when it comes to starting QBs.
If a guy is going to demand big money, they better earn it.
By earn it, I mean, where matters most ..W/L column. Having solid, top 5 PASSING stats would also be nice.
In the end, if a GM feel it's in the teams best interest to give a QB a blank check......There are numerous failure stories that they will be added to.
