So for years I didn't like steak. I thought it was absurdly overrated. Dry and tough. Flavorless. The type of steak you'd have to smother in steak sauce just to make it edible.
Then I started working and could buy my own steak. And go to places that served quality beef cooked by professionals.
The first time I had a medium-rare high quality ribeye -- it was an epiphany for me.
