    When I was young, my folks rarely (if ever) bought steak because we didn't have the money. So the only time I got to eat it was at other homes and with other people, many of which that went by the myth that any meat with even the slightest hint of red was unsafe. So growing up the only steak I ever had was cooked to death. Not to mention these were very likely cheap cuts of steak that one would find at Walmart or in the meat clearance section of a local chain grocery store.

    So for years I didn't like steak. I thought it was absurdly overrated. Dry and tough. Flavorless. The type of steak you'd have to smother in steak sauce just to make it edible.

    Then I started working and could buy my own steak. And go to places that served quality beef cooked by professionals.

    The first time I had a medium-rare high quality ribeye -- it was an epiphany for me.

        New virus. They learn as they go along or did you just learn your boxing skills in a day? Hey, maybe you did.

        The Fed Reserve is a central bank. The board of governors make the decisions. They aren't voted in because you don't want political interference in their duties. They are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate. Who are the others? I believe they are all Americans and appointed and confirmed by Americans.

                  But why do you think so many professional chefs who went to culinary school, many of which went on to work in some of the most renowned michelin starred kitchens in the world -- why do you think most of them say that medium-rare is the optimal method? Do you think they just all got it wrong? And do you think that well done steaks should be taught in culinary schools as the optimal method?
