I think it becomes deadly force by the duration more so than the action.

I would say it could qualify as depraved if you can prove he was aware of the gravity of the situation from his vantage point.

again, watch the trail. cops are taught how to do absolutely everything. it's like the military. these guys are dumb for the most part and you ened to tell them what to do. when to ****, when they can wipe their asses, to call their boss sir [ ] . cops are taught how to arrest people, when to use force, when deadly force is justified. they are trained NOT to restrain the neck and they are taught that it can kill someone.

yes, even rock ****** patrol cops can be taught something as basic as the notion that kneeling on someone's neck while he's handcuffed will kill him.

chauvin is going to prison where he will spend 23 hours a day alone, and maybe get 30 mins of yard time and a shower. if they put him in general population he will be mercilessly stabbed until he is dead.

Chauvins defence now saying that the protests because of a shooting yesterday will affect the jury's opinion.

It's about murder and not "taking one for the team" unless you believe the team are police officers who get away with abusing citizens in their custody. Patriots, real patriots do not condone police brutality against anybody innocent or guilty. Police do have the right to protect their lives and the safety of bystanders by using lethal force. They have a very stressful and at times a very dangerous job. However they are not judge, jury and executioner. Chavin clearly has a screw loose upstairs. If you can't see that you must be blind.

So in other words, you believe he should be found not guilty of any of the charges at this point?
Fortunately that is not my responsibility so I'll defer to the opinion of the Jury

I was asking for your opinion on whether you thought Chauvin was innocent. Apparently you do so I'll leave it at that.
Actually I seen enough of the trial to see that Floyd's death could very well be due to a combination of factors and not singly the pressure of Chauvin's knee. My personal viewpoint is Chauvin contributed to Floyd's death but there were other factors involved (especially the drugs in Floyd's system) that give reasonable doubt as to Chauvin's absolute guilt. If the Jury doesn't see it my way and finds Chauvin guilty then that is fine with me. In the end it is their opinion that matters, not mine or yours'.

It's none of our responsibility. I'm only asking for your opinion. I thought you were participating in this thread to share your opinion, not to respond on the Jury's opinion since they haven't rendered one yet.

Remember. He doesn't have to be found to be the only cause of death. The prosecution must prove that his actions were a substantial causal factor in Floyd's death.

It seems to me that you think Chauvin should walk free.

What can you prove beyond any reasonable doubt ........ what..........? Except the fact that Floyd died having a deadly amount of drugs in his system........Rockin'

Keep watching the trial. Listen to his own fellow officers and the specialists. They are doing a hell of a job proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin was responsible for Floyd's death.
