The point is that there are different ideas of race and racism. I never said Wales didn't have ethnographic divisions, but to my knowledge the expression "whiteboy" does not carry the same force it does in some American cities.

Perhaps not where you live. Slurs are culturally specific. In Ireland "West Briton" is a slur, here it isn't. In some places 'nigger' is not a slur, but in America it is.
