How has Michael Jackson influenced your life?

It seems like a lot of people were influenced by MJ in one way or another, whether it was by listening to his music on MTV or at a school disco to clubbing, what does his music and legacy mean to you?

When did you start listening to his music?

Did you ever dress like MJ as a child or adult?

I'm 20, my cousin who is 9 years old than me has always been listening to MJ and I would listen to MJ with him when I was like 4 years old. Since then I've always been a huge fan, had banners/flags/stickers/ all kinds of merchandise when I was little and almost all the albums. I been listening to him a lot lately, even before he died.

When I was younger, I used to listen to his music when I was sad (songs such as You Are Not Alone etc.) and they'd make me feel better.

He's been a big part of a great soundtrack to it. And his videos and performances have entertained and moved the fuck out of me. That is all.

BAD was the first ever album I ever bought with my pocket money on cassette tape.......I remember dancing and singing to his music before that......the Thriller video creeped me out when I was young!

I grew up in the 80's so it was hard to avoid MJ... I had that red jacket with all the zippers when I was 6 and I was a stylin mafugga back then jack... The first tape I ever bought for myself was MJ's "Bad." I mean if you didnt like MJ back then you were a ****in lame... LOL I bet most of us tried to moonwalk several times with little success.
