That Arsenal goal is the goal of the season unless someone twats one in from the halfway line or something.

Arsenal have been trying to score that goal for about 16 years.

Used to score goals like that all the time in the Invincibles era and other times. No one else in the league can score goals like that.

And Arsenal vs Chelsea in the League Cup although Wenger will probably ***** out of that one and play 'kids' so they have an inbuilt excuse when they get beat

Wenger pretty much always plays a second string in the Carling Cup. Chelsea are no special exception. We have games against Liverpool, Dortmund away and then United away to come after that so why would we risk injuring anyone in a Mickey Mouse cup? I don't care if it would be a trophy. No one is going to be raving about Arsenal if we win the Carling Cup.

They also went on a run the season before as well.. but the following season they were back to being to scrapping into the top 4..

Yeah because we lost our two best players from the previous season - Van Persie and Song in the summer. It completely ***ed any momentum we had going from the previous season.

This year, we haven't lost anyone. That's the biggest factor - continuity. We are still the same squad basically. Then when you add a player like Ozil, it just kicks it on further.

They have had a relatively easy start (apart from Spurs) to the season so it should be interesting to see if they are the real deal when they play the top teams. The Dortmund game tomorrow should be tasty.

I think Chelsea can overcome Arsenal whatever the setting and whatever the type of game.

And it has been that way ever sense Wayne Bridge knocked you out of the Champions' League all those years ago.

Arsenal are a good team playing well but they're flat track bullies. I suspect they will resume the foetal position against a team like Chelsea and take a good shoeing. It is what they do now.
