How many times do you flip flop about Arsenal's finances? You really expect them to be able to compete with Chelsea in an auction? Juan Mata was a prime example recently. About to sign for Arsenal, Chelsea get word and throw money at him.

Juan Mata is on £65k a week. When you consider a donkey like Mikel is on 80k or Florence Malouda was on 100k it is hilarious/scandalous.

Hang on a second.. we have been on here for months and months Wenger has been doing godly with the finances he has due to paying for the stadium.. So Arsenal have been small-time by comparison to their rivals. Signing Higuain is a bit of a statement to pundits and rival fans like myself who don't believe Arsenal will ever be truly competitive because of their tight purse strings. They can't continue going the way they are going and ever truly challenge for trophies.
