I can see Brazil scoring 2 more, more likely than the US scoring 1 more. I don't think we have the energy to take this to penalties.

Which is why Football (soccer) is the most patriotic sport in America because our boys given it there all in every game, even the ones where we get embarrassed. American players who choose to play in the MLS aren't getting paid millions of ridiculous dollars, there are players who are getting paid 15,000 a year but they do it because the love the game, this sport has yet to be tainted like the NFL, Baseball, Basketball, etc with commercialism, so in a sense this is also the most pure sport in the US.

True but you can't compare USA vs the world in Soccer and consider it a fair judgment as to where the USA stands in world competition. For the most part each countries very best athletes compete in Soccer, that is not the case in America. If our best athletes started playing Soccer at a young age and it was the number one sport they would be the number one team in the world.
