Yeah it's an online game I have going with a mate, I'm Mainz and he's Augsburg. We've turned them into the dominating forces of German football, think we've won 2 CL's each. We've had it going since like 2011, can't be arsed buying the latest game and starting again.
Don't think I have any players left that are actually real though, it's been going so long that all the players have been generated through the game I did have Oscar on it though before he was known.
I don't think Yaya is very important to the defensive side of that formation, he's a pretty ****e defensive player tbh. Barry does his dirty work 99% of the time, that's why it's important for us to sign a young box to box CM.
A 4-2-2-2 is definately doable for any team that can keep possession for long periods and have creative attacking midfielders (which Chelsea do). It isn't a system that will suit wide men though so I'm not sure how someone like Hazard would be accomodated.
Brazil had a really solid version of it going into the last world cup with Felipe Melo, Gilberto Silva, Elano and Kaka as the four midfielders. Not a brilliant midfield by any stretch but they kept the ball and it worked, that was until Elano got injured and they crumbled in the quarters.
I know you don't think much of your squad but there's no way this current Malaga team are on a par with that Chelsea team last year Everyone in that Malaga squad apart from Isco is mid-table prem quality at best.
People forget he did it with an average Villareal squad as well. Riquelme missed a pen in the last minute of the semi that would've put them in the final! He definitely has pedigree for overachieving with averageness.
On a quiet Saturday in I did but a tenner on them to be Osasuna. Julio Baptista scored in the last minute, good times.
That said, I didn rate their entire midfield over Mikel...obviously.
All their league position proves is that Bayern have been absolutely dominant all season, they've already broke the bundesliga points record with 5 games to go.
Not consistent? Pretty sure they won back to back league titles coming into this season.
Already 5 losses and 7 draws.. with 6 games to go.. that's not winning the title anyway.. And the Bundersliga is weak as **** outside them and Bayern.. just look how Man United absolutely ****d Shalke a few years ago..
You need to accept City had a fairly hard group and failed badly.. probably if they hadn't failed so badly the previous year they would have be seeded better

They won the league in 2011 and last season
Bundesliga is poor because Manchester United mauled the 14th best team that year...
I expect Klopp to make some class signings in the summer

It's ****ing blatanly obvious that City failed badly. Still doesn't take away from the quality of Dortmund.
Anyone see the reaction of the Fenerbache player cristian who missed a penalty on the stroke of half time? Dude started crying. Never seen someone cry for missing a penalty so early in the game.
WTF.. SPARKED.. get in here.. didn't watch the game.. just switched over to it when some program was on an ad break.. how on earth they gave a pen for that??
