According Jupp Heynckes agent, who has been speaking on radio after the game tonight, Lewandowski to Bayern is apparently a done deal!
I am liking the look of Juup Heynckes for Chelsea if Jose doesn't fancy it.

I think Klopp has already turned Chelsea down, which is a good shout on his behalf because we've tried the young man thing in AVB who failed.

I'm scared Chelsea will hire this Pellegrini fellow. I don't know anything about him, other than he is old, doesn't speak English, and hasn't won a trophy since 2004. So he sounds like the kind of turkey some pleb on the Chelsea board will crap himself to sign up.

I think we do have to go with an old crow to manage us if it isn't Mourinho. I'd be happy with Hiddink or even Capello.

All this "German teams will begin dominating world football" just because they had 2 good results is a crock of shite. People need to calm down.

I hope Dortmund and Bayern get their shit slapped in so everyone crawls back into their holes.

All you need to know about pellegrini, sparked is, he runs a 4222. Which will get raeped in england by the poorest of teams. Any team that sits deep, plays off the counter and very direct would curb stomp a 4222. Gives up waaaay too much space through the middle.

I'd take Jupp for sure. Or Lucien Favre.

This is why I said the other week that Klopp would be my first choice if we were replacing Mancini. It's also why I said I'd love us to sign Reus and/or Gundogan for our wide man/centre midfielder. They outplayed Real twice in the group, this wasn't a fluke. I remember BEDROOM BULLY saying that they were an average side a couple of weeks ago

Really hope they get through and do Bayern over.

It's a real shame that this Dortmund team will be ripped apart though. To be fair they do still have Reus, Gundogan, Hummels, Lewandowski and Piszczek, who I think are all top players. It's just not sustainable to build a top team long term in that league when you have Bayern about who will just monopolize it.

Apart from my Mainz squad that I've built on football manager, obviously.

The guy was seconds away from taking a team containing Roque Santa Cruz to a CL semi final. Let's not undermine him. I rate him as a manager. He works with the personnel he has, can't knock him for it.

....and City played a very narrow 4-2-2-2 for most of last season when we won the title, didn't do us much harm.

To be fair Bayern have been there or thereabouts for the past 4 years. Could've won it in 2010, should've won it last season. They've had more than 2 good results between the 2 sides as well, they've been twatting everyone in europe all season.

Hahaha you had a mainz squad fenomeno? I had a hertha berlin squad on fifa 13. I made them beast with a 3 man backline. Won the pokal my first season there after abandoning portsmouth when I got them promoted..

You forget chelsea don't have a yaya toure. We got mikel and a bunch of cams.

                  That's not that impressive.

Chelsea won the CL with Jose Bosingwa, John Obi Mikel, and Ryan Bertrand playing left wing, and a centre-half who just joined from a terrible Bolton team, and a 35-year-old striker who scored 10 goals all season leading the line. I'd say Malaga were probably on a par with that side, the only difference being that the Chelsea players have awesome agents who get them paid through the arse.

Honestly, is there a worse player than Jose Bosingwa in the world? Certainly, the worst right back I've seen in the flesh. Even at league 1 level you don't get dross like Bosingwa.

Edit: Kalou!!! I forgot about Kalou!

                  I actually miss him.

The mention of Mikel's name makes my heart sink.

So they beat Madrid and became an amazing side with 1 result?

One they clearly have Madrids number...

two Lewandowski played the game of his life and was helped by that bum PEPE on 3 of the goals.

I stand by view that Dortmund are not a great side.. they went life and death vs Malaga and weren't so impressive in the previous round either

                      I know your agenda btw

But face it City were a joke this season
