I doubt that gramps.. Britain gets worse every year .. so don't worry about coming back

Of course i saw him play and see i am not the only one who actually DID watch him unlike you.. the guy below knows what's up.

Peter was great at coming out on those one on one and staying big.. back then that happened a lot in the premiership.. with lots of fast strikers like Anelka, wright and Owen.. running onto through balls... VDS did most other things better..

Ofc VDS played for the two biggest clubs in italy and England.. won multiple trophies and reached many CL finals.. the guy is better then Buffon his replacement at Juve also. Peter on the other hand shamed himself with his ill fated spell at City

I just checked that list.. Henry in the GOD tier.. seriously? and Buffon also

Cruyff or Eusabio should be switched with Ronaldo also after his fantastic display at the Euros

He went to Madrid and had a brilliant strike rate.. politics and injuries finished him over there though

Problem was he was all about his pace and finishing..

The types of injuries (hamstring and knees) really ended him..

He needed his pace to get him in on the end of those through balls.. or quickly beat a defender one on one.

He still has that goalscorers knack of getting in the right place and the right time but he is really limited nowdays. I still think he is better then that bum Chicarito though.

I was back recently. My family still live in Britain. I just live in a country with a far better quality of living index now.

Of course i saw him play and see i am not the only one who actually DID watch him unlike you.. the guy below knows what's up.

You're wrong. Schmeichel was one of the best goalkeepers ever, and was far and away the best of his generation. Van Der Sar wasn't even the best in his league. Not even top three. He did have Peter Beardsley hair though.

Ofc VDS played for the two biggest clubs in italy and England.. won multiple trophies and reached many CL finals.. the guy is better then Buffon his replacement at Juve also.
Wait, he's better than Buffon the consensus best goalkeeper of the last ten years? Why do you have such a hard-on for Van Der Sar?

Peter on the other hand shamed himself with his ill fated spell at City
Now we get to the heart of the matter. You had the best goalkeeper in the world at the heart of the best Manchester United team in history in the 90s, winner of the Treble (and team captain if I recall) but what's really important to you is having a little cry about Manchester City. Despite the insistence of United supporters that Man City fans are obsessed with their team it always plays out the opposite way. It's always United fans with a bee in their arse about City.

Fact is that Schmeichel was better than Van Der Sar. The only reason you would say otherwise was because your vagina dried up when Schmeichel went to City.

It's actually a damn good list. The only players I can think of who should be in there but aren't are:

                Voller
                Fontaine
                Kopa
                Zoff
                Francescoli
                Owen

The ones I thought weren't in there actually turned out to be, like Passarella and Garrincha

It has pretty much all the names that should be on such a list, but like all lists, debatable positions.

I agree. Which positions do you think are most controversial? Eusebio and Yashin should swap places.

Most controversial?....i'm not sure, but i'm biased in favour of Puskas, so by default i'd have him in the GOAT tier.
