The fact he went public with this doesn't look good for him to stay this season.

If he had any kind of dignity, he will sign for a club abroad. But no doubt he will end up at Sheik Oil Money FC with the other traitors.

Arsenal is the only top club I can stand and I hate to see them suffer but RVP is in his late 20's and isn't going to win anything at Arsenal. He made the right choice. If he joins City however, I will no doubt be hoping he fails.

Tottenham have confirmed the capture of attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson from Hoffenheim as the Iceland international becomes Andre Villas-Boas' first signing.

Juventus should get him. I'd hate to see him in a city or barca shirt next season.

Why? He'd be signing for the best team in the country, I'm not seeing what's so morally wrong about it.

Don't want him anyway. Smarmy **** that can't take losing. Fits in well at Arsenal.

                    Massive blow for Arsenal.

I can understand why Arsenal fans will be pissed but the guy wants to win trophies and he ain't going to be doing that at Arsenal until the board/Wenger actually start splashing some cash.

I think the most telling quote was "but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward."

With RVP looking as though he's going sooner rather than later, who will be the next Arsenal star to go? Surely it won't be long before the likes of Wilshire, Vermaalen (sp) & Song maybe start to look elsewhere.

Gylfi is a great signing for Spurs though. Could see them allowing Modric to move on now.

"Traitors"? I thought you said they were "rejects".
