France '98 was meant to be his tournament, the one where he officially stamped his claim to the throne but it wasn't to be, he suffered a mysterious epileptic seizure before the final. My dad used to say that France paid him off, cus had he played they would have been ****ed royally lol.
He first got seriously injured when he was at Inter Milan, now considering he went on to become the world cup's highest goalscorer since that injury, imagine what could've acheived had he not got injured? that's a scary thought.
