    Benayoun was a good opportunistic deal. Mertesacker does well at times, but is struggling in his new environment. Arteta was a great purchase.

      Benny has hardly played.. Bad deal period

      Park-- crap
      Gervinho -- pretty meh
      Mertesacker -- the defence has been better since he was injured
      Arteta -- midfield has been better since he was out but out of that lot he is probably the best.. Not saying much tho

      Wenger can't be trusted with money

          What do you expect each of them to do? Because you can't just say they are crap without having certain expectations of them. Every player isn't meant to solely score goals, each one fills a specific role.

          So if you think they are crap, why? What roles do you expect each to play?

            I find that Wenger is misinformed a lot of the time. He could have had Bale but the scouts told him that he was a left back not a winger. I'm sure if they would have told him that he could probably cut it as a winger, he'd have gotten him easily.

            You probably don't rate him but when Brek Shea went to train with Arsenal, they told him that Shea was a left back when he plays winger on FC Dallas and the US team.

                  I'm just re-posting what the man said himself. He said that he could have had Bale but they told him he was a left back. So he didn't have an interest in him.
