But City played a defensive game and United couldnt break through it,
Shay Given once again proves what I have been saying all along that he is the best goalkeeper in the world, He was unreal.....

I think 95% of people on this forum would agree with my arguement over your arguement

Cole is 1 of the best in the world > you - No he isnt

Anyway, Was a great game tbh, aint had my blood pumping for a match like that in a long time.... The penalty was a gift, was abit ****** to be tugging his shirt but still....was a free kick at least...

I think the ref made pretty **** decisions...but we defended so poorly on that 2nd goal....

Man of the match for me was given, made so many good saves.....Tevez closely behind him and i thought de jong had a great game

United players wise...i personally think rooney only come to life for the last 30 minutes..... I thought evra was by far our best player...he was amazing...
And carrick and fletcher were getting stuck in all night...carricks passing was finally back on track bar 1 or 2 passes

Don't know what game you saw, but the one I saw, was Evra and Fletcher doing the suppling midfield role and defending rather than Carrick or Anderson. Carrick was happy to pass the ball to the side and not foward and let either Evra or Fletcher do it for him....*sigh*......

No, never put Ramsey or the others on a pedestal, infact a stated otherwise, but since you said Carrick and Anderson are world class players I just replied that these players have done more this season than those two and so far my point is valid, especially in Anderson's case, Carrick has his cameos. Take todays game, where is Anderson??!!!!....and when he has the ball hes given it away 5 times in this first half alone. Carrick???, the occasional cameo, plus he seems more comfortable passing the ball to his side and let Fletcher or Evra do HIS job than him just doing it which is to carry the ball down the field and make those passes and put Valencia, Giggs or Rooney in, break that defense with those passes.



Proven players???!!!! please, just because they've been in the winning team three season in a row they aren't proven players, when finally they are counted on they fail miserably like this season has proven. Anderson played here and there, but same old same old. Carrick, had his moments but was overshadowed mainly by Ronaldo, Fletcher and Giggs.


The same coming from Manchester United, if a player coming from United and are proven players like you say, they won't have trouble breaking in their respective international sides. And its not the caps that matter, its their performances, and that was the purpose of putting the Giggs link.



BTW, kinda harsh penalty, looked like the City and Everton penalty, as in the "pulling" started outside and continued inside.....

I disagree. Rooney is stronger and has a better touch. Tevez is a good signing for City but I think that Rooney is a very similar kind of player and given the choice between the two of them I'd pick Shrek.
