    Considering the job Hughes did at Fulham and how Chelsea are playing at the moment, investing to get AVB onboard so quickly might've been the wrong move... Hughes would've had Chelsea playing their more usual game

    We're in straight at the deep end already with AVB, I just haven't got a good feeling about it.

          Too soon to tell... I do admire what he's trying to do with the club, it's early doors so if he turns it around he'll get a lot of credit from me
          We're much more of a threat going forward... but the defending in the last few weeks has been the worst I can remember, and the Arsenal game was probably THE worst defensive performance I can remember for years.

            I do think AVB is the better manager, he seemed to get the players onside quickly and playing his style of football... time will tell if he does better for the club results-wise.

              I think he has done the right thing with the players he has brought in going forward Chelsea's style needed revamping. Drogba/Anelka are/were coming to the end and the likes of Malouda/Kalou are not good enough imo..

              Mata/Merelies are the kind of players that would make them more fluid going forward.. Unluckly you got Terry coming to the end and being shown up without a quality operator like Carvallho (bad move to let him go).. Luiz could be that replacement but he is a damn FOOL.. also issues at RB..

              A front 6 of..

              Lampard.. Ramires/Mikel... Merleies

              Sturridge Torres Mata

              Should be formidable if they get the defense sorted

                The players he's brought in I have no complaints about, they can play the style he wants... but he clearly needs to make some sacrifices, you can't play the forward-pressing football we have been with the current squad, especially at the back
                And if he doesn't get more money to replace the weak links, then we could be in real shit.

                  It's not just Terry... Cole, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Alex, Mikel, Lampard, Malouda, Anelka, Drogba have all looked suspect, that's the majority of our squad.
