So John Terry losing his footing in the champions league final comes down to the fact that Chelsea paid a high price for most of their squad?
Madrid needed time to settle, I don't think they'll win La Liga but look where they are in the table already.
And when it comes down to it, they didn't win. Doesn't matter who's to blame, Chelsea didn't win it and that's it. Could've & should've don't belong in reality.

Every team that spends money needs time to settle and gel.

You can't buy success after one summer of spending. Atleast two-three years of work with the squad is required.

We'll see how City does near the end of the season. Injuries and conditioning plays a big part for everytime. City isn't use to playing CL so the middle of the season will be crutial when they are playing 2-3 matches a week.

It hurt Madrid a lot last year and that's why they weren't so strong in the league like the year before. They weren't use to playing so many competitions at once they were more use to getting eliminated early on.

Madrid has come a very long way, made a tremendous amount of progress last year but still came up short for la liga and CL.

    Better luck this year?

    I think so.

First of all Vidic was are best player last season and so far he has played about 2 games..

Fergie needs to play his best first 11 more often as well.. i don't get some of the selection choices vs Liverpool in particular.. also vs Stoke that was a questionable team.. same with Benfica. We have a very large squad and he wants them all to play i get that.

The midfield is an issue.. but lets not forget we have been without Cleverly for a bit now since Bolton.. what's happened since then? we have struggled.. drawing a lot and now this loss.

The first half was pretty much equal.. we dominated play till the goal against play.. the sending off really ****ed us over.. it's bad enough losing a man when your drawing or winning.. but when your trying to chase the game it can be terminal
      Crying? lol

Its a fact, and its been a fact since before the season started....we Need a center midfielder.....Cleverly is still young, hes good...but theres only so many people who could remotely replace scholes in the team....

And yeah....Vidic is by far 1 of our best players...and with him missing didnt make the game any easier....

oh and that last sentence is really quite sad
Your turn to relax....it was a joke

Anyway....Yeh there is gonjna be good footballers out there....but of course money is the main priority for players....They play to be at a great club and get great wages...city will provide title contention and a constant champs league place......so all the big players will hope to go there

Im not saying No1 is going to be close to city or anything

Im just saying they are in the best position to continue doing great....

And all that has come from investing heavily in top quality players.

United had their time when they had more cash than anyone else. I don't think it's just about throwing cash. Mancini has shown he has the right stuff.

Dont forget tho players like nasri silva aguero etc

Have the experience of playing during the week and in competitions like Champs league

So they may be key players for them during that time....they do have a hell of alot of strength in depth

They are geling pretty well atm

But I remember people saying we had won the league already...just from our performance against arsenal

I remember last year when chelsea started with 7-0 wins etc.. I thought...fk they hav probs won it the way they are going...and look at the form they dropped into....

            Its still early days yet

I do agree Mancini is doing his job well.....But the amount of cash you have and the wages you can offer....**** on anything else any other team can do

Its a major factor is what im saying...

City's upper-hand against the other top clubs is the fact that they are willing to play huge wages to every player they bring in... any top club can offer £30 million for a player, but not many can pay £100,000+ a week to the majority of new signings.

lol, i just love how Drogba decided to celebrate Torres' eventual comeback with a forward tackle of his own. . Chelsea got bum ****d by the officials today. 2 reds and 9 players, we still held it together. Almost had a header at the end to tie it up too. Can't wait for next game. There will be blood. lol

Second note. United just fell victim to karma. They ran the score up on a damaged Arsenal. Now City ran a train on them. lol, I do wonder what the British press is saying about DeGea though.

Why is De Gea being blamed for this?

It was our defending that was the reason we conceded 6.....we had no defence when it was 3-1....every1 was in an attacking position for every goal...

Also...I didnt see the chelsea game....the first red card was a joke..but the 2nd? Was a sending off for sure...
