Signing Sneijder should become an even bigger priority, though.
      I agree....we SERIOUSLY

Need someone in the midfield....badly badly badly...

I mean I did think fletcher did decent (some of his passes were poor..some were brilliant, and his goal was amazing)

Anderson did well too...hes strong and everything....but they dont have that....Mata/Silva play to their game....to link the play straight into the forwards....

As soon as we get that, I dont think we will be missing anything in our squad...

A Fit Vidic and Ferdinand would be great....With smalling/jones at right back...(cant really see rafael being put ahead of them at the moment)

Great players + good coaching and team management = Success.

The only sight of success Madrid has seen so far is Copa del Rey from the insane amount they've spent during the 2009 summer.

Which to most of you on here, is on the same level as the carling cup.

        Is that really, "success"?

Anderson is pants, not good enough to be in the same team as players like Rooney... he gives you the same problems we had with just Frank in the middle, he can play the simple ball but anything else is asking too much.

So John Terry losing his footing in the champions league final comes down to the fact that Chelsea paid a high price for most of their squad?
Madrid needed time to settle, I don't think they'll win La Liga but look where they are in the table already.

Assasin stop crying lol.. i'd still put money on us winning the league

First of all Vidic was are best player last season and so far he has played about 2 games..

Fergie needs to play his best first 11 more often as well.. i don't get some of the selection choices vs Liverpool in particular.. also vs Stoke that was a questionable team.. same with Benfica. We have a very large squad and he wants them all to play i get that.

The midfield is an issue.. but lets not forget we have been without Cleverly for a bit now since Bolton.. what's happened since then? we have struggled.. drawing a lot and now this loss.

The first half was pretty much equal.. we dominated play till the goal against play.. the sending off really ****ed us over.. it's bad enough losing a man when your drawing or winning.. but when your trying to chase the game it can be terminal

With the money they have, I hate to say it, they will dominate the league...probably even the World if it continues the way its going.....

Im not just saying it because of todays performance....but when you look at every individual on that team....They got a hell of a player in practically every position...

2 left backs...2 right backs (richards is young n still getting better)....3-4 center backs...

Their center mids all international footballers and world class players in silva, nasri.....

              amazing strikers.....

they are just going to attract more and more big names......If they win the league, I dont even want to know what players they will bring to their club...

Could imagine someone like ronaldo going, which would hurt...even tho I never really liked him after the world cup at united...it would still be horrible 2 see

United need a rich arab to come pay for everything we need lol
relax, there are too many good footballers out there for that to happen. Not every good player can play for the handful of moneybags clubs. For every £30m city spunk on a player, there are 5-10 more out there just as good.

oh and that last sentence is really quite sad

As much as the sending off influenced the result, Silva really did run rings around the United squad
He is amazing to watch at the moment... looking just as effective as Fabregas & Iniesta
Will help push the Spanish national team forward, which is worrying.

Don't get me wrong it was a horrible horrible result but it's not like we have had them before.. Liverpool most recently..

City spanked us 4-1 a few years ago also..

If we stopped pushing we would have lost 3-1.. but that's just not the way we operate..

Defensively we are a very different team without Vidic also.. we beat Chelsea 3-1 but that could hav been 3-6 quite easily on another day..

Oshea shud have stayed and Evans gone that's clear to me..

I am 100% sure if City go without Silva they will struggle a hell of a lot more then we have without Vidic on a very hard run of games.

Everything went right, and its just one game at the end of the day... they have shown in the past that they can have off-days against lesser teams
They are with the front runners for the league, but they need to show that ruthless mentality in every game.

Lyon go 1 up against Lille, Briand with the goal but Gourcuff's pass was superb.
