Ok, fine. His goals against Spain and Holland were in friendly games, Mexico were 3-0 down when he scored against Argentina and France were in disarray when Mexico played them in the world cup.
Not sure what Berbatov has to do with anything. Berbatov actually brings more to the game than a goal every now and then.
Any CL team is a threat? So that Romanian outfit you're taking on this week are threat?
You know his record is average, that's why you fabricated a goal against Spurs to try and justify your 'He's scored against all the top teams' comment.
I am not his biggest fan but...
No they aren't a threat.. but he is right the majority of teams in the CL are a threat especially if you have an off night. Valencia certainly are a tough team.. i'd put them on par with City/Liverpool/Arsenal.. that goal was crucial as well cause it meant we qualified top and dodged Barca. Marsielle were very tough defensively and have some good attacking options.. he scored at crucial times again.
He didn't start in the Argentinian game either.. Or probably the french game..
Berbatov is clearly the better player (and as good as goalscoring record) but he doesn't fit the team as well.
Just because he failed do have an impact in a dreadful City/United game doesn't mean much.. he doesn't need to score every game vs Big teams.. to have a good record vs them. Besides City are not a big team yet anyway.. just look at the way the got butt****ed by the only good opposition this year and fell apart. But anyway just look at Ronaldo.. barely ever did anything except against Arsenal
When it's all going good City will look like world beaters.. when its not the likes of Dzeko, Tevez (already has), Ballotelli will be anonymous
Chicharito is not a world class player and he never will be.
Great player to have in the squad though
The word world class gets banded about to often anyway..
Imo you have 10-15 genuine world class attacking players atm with 2 miles ahead of the rest. Chicarito is a top player though.. It's like someone told me Van Der Vaart is world class the other day.. good player no doubt but world class really??
Do you reckon Arsenal will make the top 6 this season? you were awful again today.. i honestly find it hard to back you guys vs anyone atm. You haven't even played City/Chelsea yet either..

His goal against Argentina was class, you don't always have to win to show you're a world class player. Loads of world class players will have scored in games that they did not win. It's the quality of the goal that counts. Friendly games don't mean anything but it doesn't change the fact that he was playing against teams with some of the best players in the world. Plus he was playing for Mexico who you wouldn't have down as a team of world beaters.
I used Berbatov because people will say he has more of a claim to be world class than Hernandez, but he hasn't produced the goods in the biggest club competition. Plus you said you'd be more worried of Berbatov playing City than Hernandez.
Look at United's last CL game against Basel, the majority of people would say they aren't good enough, but their performance proves why they deserve to be in the competition and how smaller teams are still a threat.
The spurs goal was my mistake, still doesn't change the fact he has a record of scoring against world class opposition. And he doesn't just score goals, his movement can create space for other team mates to get a chance in front of goal.

Nah, he started that game, the only game he started after Aguirre realized how ass Franco was.
We'll have agree to disagree then. Anyone that's behind Danny Welbeck in the pecking order doesn't have much of a case to be branded a world class player in my book. A world class player in my view is someone who would push for a starting place at any club in the world.
Oh well you still can't take that goal away from him..
It's not his fault that..
Tevez (i think) scored a wonder goal
The ref/linesman made some shocker
and a poor defensive error..
My memory is a bit foggy but i think that's how all 3 goals went down.. Germany showed the Argies what was up the next round though
Annnnndddd you got it all right.
I'm not taking the goal away, just saying he did start that match and Mexico was very unlucky cause they hit the post twice in the first 15mins (Guardado & Salcido)
Than that offsides by Tevez came, than the wonder strike, than Osorio?(think thats how u spell) made a terrible soft pass that left the ball right there and I think Higuain took it and made his goal.
Than Chicharito came with his savage goal.
It doesn't matter if you team loses, you can still be a world class player, so cause Portugal lost to Denmark that means Ronaldo isn't a world class player? liikkee

That's fair enough. The reason he didn't start the season was because of his concussion. Welbeck came in and then scored a few goals so Fergie rightly kept the winning formula. Can't argue with how Welbeck is playing though he's having a blinder.
