Mancini would come up with an innovative box to box goalkeeper role for him, should he sign for us.

It today's market he's probably worth that, but me personally, I wouldn't pay more than 2 mil for him, 3 at the most. I cant understand why Daglish would pay that for him, Shelvey, who already plays for Liverpool, has more talent than him imo.
I would only pay 7/8 million for Bendy. Bendy is worth 12-15 mil in today's market though.
I dont mean this in a patronizing way, but its a shame Daglish is doing what he's doing, cause with his abilites as a coach, if he were buying good players, he really would make Liverpool a threat.

That's 6 games I've seen of his now and each time he's been awful. Not just average. Awful.
What is he supposed to be good at? The sad thing was Michael Mancienne looks like a better midfielder than him. A centre-half.
I don't think Stuart Pearce has done English footy a service. He had a chance to suggest a new technical era but that midfield is awful. Not bringing Josh McEachran was actually criminal.
I'm glad Chelsea have gone in for Modric. He's a sure thing. He'll be a good player for anyone. I'd hope we can leave the Italian league players well alone. Including Pastore.

Pearce seems like your stereotypical tub thumping neanderthal English coach who preaches passion over everything else.
Its quite clear England dont move the ball well, so what do you do, you incorporate as many technical players in the engine room (midfield) as you can, and were not talking about guys who can pass the ball long(Henderson), but cant pass the ball under pressure, were talking about kids that have a short game to, can pass short and long whilst under pressure, Josh McEachran can do both.
Shelvey, Josh McEachran, Rodwell, Ravel Morrison, Lansbury, any combination of these would do a better job at controlling the ball that what the current midfield does.
BTW, I watched a couple of sturridge HL videos on youtube last night, he has good feet, likes to get involved in the build up, but seems to lack composure, as he can skew his shot, or snatch at chances, he also seems not to be on the same wave length as his opponent sometimes, looks a useful player, but might have to work on the aforementioned, although to his credit, whilst he seems to miss chances a bit, he has scored some very nice goals.
