Youth is not really that important when it comes to the keepers. Let's be honest, the most important thing about keepers is not necessarily saving shots - it's not fucking up in an obvious game costing fashion.

I'm sure he's the goods but it is risky I'd think, compared to someone like Stecklenberg who has played at every level of the game and done well.

Yeah It's difficult.

But it's pretty hard to get out once you're in. Chelsea had a lot of success just playing long straight balls between Pique and Puyol. But I dunno Pique has probably improved since then, as have Barca as a whole. But pace in behind is definitely the key. Nobody is going to convince me that they are great centre-halves

But also, this end of season Barca don't look like the mid season Barca who were tearing up teams and in a final anything can happen as players dig just that little bit deeper.
