Too lateral, too much on the edge of the box
Arsenal had nothing up the middle
Vidic and Smalling had it easy from him, but did well to stop Arshavin, Nasri etc.
Hes too old now to ever be the worlds best striker, he has about 2-3 years of playing at a good but not elite level and hes too used to playing one way.

van persie is also very hit and miss, sometimes hes key, other times hes mr invisible.

arsenal were better in every other aspect but what matters is who scores more goals. its unfortunate that arsenal came up against van der sar, mignolet and ben foster when they were all in top form.

against any other team, they would've scored 4+.
They also came up against 3 defenders in midfield haha

Rafael and Fabio did well, but you could see they just wernt wingers....

O'Shea is the ***in man, he can play any position and get a job done.....He was better in center mid than Gibson....

Manchester derby in the FA cup semis will be brilliant.

I was dreading the game with that midfield but despite not getting much in terms of possession they got the job done. Better than when Carrick plays there!

The twins on either wing were brilliant they had nice link up play with each other and were constantly running, no surprise that they run out of steam but then you got the boss Valencia coming on to run their defence ragged! Can't wait to see him properly back.
Fabio has now scored 2 goals recently when he's been played on that left wing and he's a left wing back, i'd like to see him play there more because he seems to have decent positional sense, better than Rafael's imo and he's just a handful with his pace and small stature.

Tevez has been shite for the best part of 3 months. Our play is far more fluid when he doesn't feature. Rather have Balotelli as the lone striker myself.

The train journey to Wembley should be fun.

I think with RVP people dont realise that his mindset is not that of an out and out striker, he likes to set up play too and drops into the midfield at times.

Hes world class, but no on the level of ronaldo, messi for my money. Hes too inconsistent and injury prone.
